Your Role

As a Planning and Materials Manager you will be responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient planning, procurement, Inventory control, and Material availability to support production and business objectives. This role requires strong analytics skills, leadership and coordination with multiple departments, including procurement, logistics, and production.

Your Responsibilities

  • Regularly translate company goals and forecasts into demand plans ensuring the optimization of inventory management and efficient resource allocation.
  • Work with stakeholders in sales and product management to obtain and connect key data required to ensure defined material needs.
  • Determine the best supply strategies for different commodities and leverage planning tools like MRP and stocking plans to ensure sufficient supply.
  • Optimize the utilization of MRP and ensure the integration with other systems like ERP and CRM to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Regularly collaborate closely with the procurement organization to align on needs and availability of material.
  • Develop reports and metrics that allow the monitoring of inventory levels and identification of potential shortages before they occur, ensuring safety stock levels on a regular basis.
  • Identify process gaps in material transactions and develop process improvements to ensure the closure of those gaps.
  • Continuously work with the warehouse and production organizations to implement best practices, maximizing inventory accuracy and traceability.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar disciplines.
  • 7+ years experience working in materials and supply chain roles.
  • 7+ years experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics), experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in fast-paced growth environments is strongly desired.
  • CPIM certification is a plus.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $135,000

*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.

**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
