Dexterity Taiwan team focuses on creating and building relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to enable and maintain Dexterity’s hardware ecosystem in Taiwan. As a Supply Chain & Supplier Quality Engineer at Dexterity Taiwan, you will act as an extension of Headquarters Supply Chain and Quality teams.

Responsibilities:
Onsite work with suppliers, project management with adherence to critical milestones and timelines with experience having a sharp eye and understanding on costs containment and ability to make tradeoff decisions.
Identify potential sources and suppliers globally, regionally and within country
Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Collaborates with global stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
Manage supplier development projects by driving supplier partners and internal Dexterity team members.
Assess supplier capabilities for performance, quality, cost and delivery.
Identifies proper logistics routes, while in parallel develop should-cost models.
Clear understanding of suppliers’ BoM costs and identify areas for cost improvement.
Negotiate prices and supply agreements with global suppliers and in region/country suppliers and partners Perform quality control audits to ensure suppliers in compliance with requirements.
Provide advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates. Lead improvement processes when there are supplier quality issues.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and Mandarin.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent project management skills with organizational skills, attention to detail and time management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
Good working knowledge of quality control standards and government compliance.
Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.
Able to work on multiple projects and engineering teams concurrently with great attention to detail.
Fast learner, can autonomously translate learnings into execution.
Excellent communication and liaison skills.
Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or related software.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering related field required; Masters degree preferred.
Ten years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
