About Hyperframe:

Hyperframe manufactures commercial wall framing materials that snap together on the job site, enabling ultra-fast wall construction in commercial buildings. Parts are manufactured using industrial metalworking equipment at our factory in San Leandro, CA. We are seeking a line supervisor for our production line.

Shift Hours:

  • 4 on, 4 off schedule
  • 1st Shift Supervisor Hours: 6 am-5:30 pm (when requested, mandatory OT til 6 pm)

What we’re looking for:

  • Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience and 2 years in a supervisor role
  • Previous experience at a steel fabrication facility is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and to carry 50lbs without assistance
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to work weekends and with advance notice mandatory overtime

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: This job's essential duties and responsibilities are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Manage a team of 5-10 production line operators
  • Implement production schedules and monitor production progress to reach daily production goals
  • Retrieve production materials, counts, and weights from inventory before production
  • Ensure that the assembly line stations are operating according to standard operating procedures
  • Assist with arising production line questions or issues
  • Prepare and submit regular production reports to management & handoffs.
  • Monitor product quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure QA/QC compliance.
  • Retain awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error-free and damage-free results
  • Correct at-risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediately
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Communicate quickly and effectively if there are questions or concerns
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Enforce the usage of all required safety gear and equipment
  • Comply with plant rules and policies
  • Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
