The role of a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is a position within the field of cybersecurity. This role involves monitoring the cyberspace for signs of Brand Abuse, Data Leaks, Credentials Theft, undeground forums selling sensitive information, identify and profile threat actors and understand modus operandi, all these to proactively protect our customers. Finally, this role is able to present final results to our customers.
Basic qualifications:
- One year of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence analysis.
- Good knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and intrusion techniques.
- Proficiency in using threat intelligence OSINT techniques.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems and identify root causes.
- Experience in collaborating with various teams and departments within an organization.
- Dynamic Malware analysis a huge plus, extracting IOCs quickly a good plus.
- Pivoting from different data points like Domains, hashes, IPs, mutex a good plus.
- Able to create Yara rules to hunt for malware in VirusTotal a good plus.
- Able to script in Python to automate hunting tasks.
