We are looking for a Functional Analyst to act as a key bridge between business areas and technical teams, capable of understanding business needs and translating them into clear and detailed functional specifications.

The focus will be on gaining an in-depth understanding of business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining ongoing collaboration with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and propose technological solutions.
  • Perform impact analysis for functional changes.
  • Participate in solution design alongside the technical team.
  • Collaborate in defining acceptance criteria and functional test cases.
  • Support the QA team in validating deliverables.
  • Actively participate in project planning.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of work methodologies.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Ability to diagram business processes and functional flows (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts).
  • Ability to review and validate wireframes and prototypes created in tools like Figma.
  • Desirable: general understanding of software architectures, REST APIs, or system integrations.

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to understand and map complex business processes.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong results orientation.
  • Facilitation skills for meetings and workshops with stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and with agile methodologies.
