We're seeking a driven Business Development Representative to contribute to our customer-centric and collaborative sales team.
What you’ll do
As a Business Development Representative at QuoteToMe, you'll spearhead our efforts in acquiring new accounts. You will engage in outbound sales strategies such as cold calling, email campaigns, and prospecting within our ideal customer profile to determine qualified leads. With a keen understanding of our products, sales methodology, and target market, you'll be pivotal in expanding QuoteToMe's customer base across the United States and Canada.
What your week might look like
- Engage in proactive outreach by making 80-100 cold calls daily using established lead lists.
- Build relationships with cold and warm leads to understand their business needs, raise awareness about QuoteToMe, and assess lead quality based on key indicators.
- Coordinate and schedule demos or discovery calls with qualified leads for Account Executives.
- Follow-up with leads across multiple communication channels such as cold calling, voicemails, emails, texts, and LinkedIn messages.
- Learn from the inevitable rejections that will come your way, remain positive and trust the process.
- Update the Customer Relationship Management System (Hubspot) with relevant information to ensure accurate records and reporting.
- Be accountable to the team for meeting weekly targets.
- Participate in daily team stand-ups and call-blocks.
- Collaboratively iterate on the sales process to integrate our learnings and improve as a team.
Who you are
- You have experience selling B2B SaaS products.
- You are goal-oriented, and persistent in your approach to meeting sales targets.
- You thrive in structured work routines.
- You are an active listener and have empathy for others.
- You are open-minded, and willing to explore new strategies in collaboration with the team.
- You are coachable and have a strong desire to learn and improve.
- You can legally work in Canada or USA.
Bonus
- You have domain knowledge in construction, purchasing, or accounting.
- You have previous startup experience or have started your own business.
