About Electric Era

Electric Era builds the fastest, most reliable EV fast-charging network for the places drivers already stop. Our RE200 chargers on the Electric Era RetailEdge platform combine high-power charging, integrated battery storage and in-house software to deliver uptime that beats the industry. We partner with leading fuel and convenience retailers to bring charging to high-traffic sites across North America.

The Role

You will own how Electric Era raises capital and how it turns strategic relationships into revenue, capabilities and scale. You will report to the CEO and work directly with Finance, Sales, and the Board, running point on our most important investor and corporate conversations.

What You'll Own
  • Equity fundraising, end to end. Build the narrative and the model, run the process, own the data room and materials, and deploy the CEO and team where they move the needle. Turn skeptical investors into a ‘yes’.
  • Project capital fundraising. Develop and manage third-party ownership financing models for CapEx-sensitive EV charging and CoPower solutions for customers.
  • Strategic partnerships. Develop and own relationships with strategic partners and industry players and convert them into profitable ventures via JVs, distribution and licensing agreements, or co-development and strategic sales partnerships.
  • Deal structuring. Design and negotiate terms that unlock revenue or new capabilities, from term sheet through signed contract.
  • M&A and partnership pipeline. Source, screen and prioritize investments, alliances, or acquisitions. Keep a live pipeline with clear go/no-go calls.
  • Investor and board relations. Keep investors and the board informed, aligned and ready for the next round.

What You Bring
  • 8+ years across corporate development, investment banking, venture/growth investing or strategy, with deals you originated, led and closed.
  • Proven record running capital raises and winning over tough investors.
  • Experience structuring JVs, licensing, distribution or strategic investments with large corporations.
  • Sharp financial modeling and valuation skills, and the judgment to know which numbers matter.
  • A compelling storyteller who won’t take a cookie-cutter approach, can write the deck, own the room and negotiate hard.
  • Founder mindset: high ownership, fast, comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice to Have
  • Background in EV charging, energy, cleantech, or critical infrastructure. Relationships with climate, infrastructure and/or strategic investors.
  • Experience with project finance, debt facilities or government incentives.
  • Cross-border deal experience, including Latin America and APAC
Why Join
  • Shape the capital strategy and partnerships of a company building critical power infrastructure.
  • Work directly with the CEO and board on the decisions that define the company.
  • Blue-chip customers and partners already on board, with room to build much bigger deals.
  • Meaningful equity and the chance to build the corp dev function from scratch.
